Where are you located?
We operate from four locations - our three coffee shops (Pontcanna, Cardiff; James Street, Cardiff Bay; Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan) and our Bakery and takeaway Hatch, at Rhymney Riverbridge Business Park, just off Newport Road in Cardiff. Do you bake your own products?
Yes, all our breads and pastries are made by hand each day in our own Bakery. Everything is freshly baked each morning, so once it’s gone, it’s gone for the day!

Are your products nut-free?
While we don’t use nuts in all our products, we do handle nuts in the bakery. Whilst we take all the necessary steps to avoid cross-contamination, we wouldn’t recommend you ordering from us if you have a severe allergy to any nuts.
Do you do bake your own gluten free products?
We are unable to offer any of our own gluten free products. Because we operate from a relatively small bakery, it would be impossible for us to offer anything that would be regarded as gluten free, as there would always be traces of gluten present in the bakery environment.
Do you have vegan options?
We always strive to carry a choice of products that are suitable for those on a vegan diet. Please ask at the counter to see what is available on any given day.
Can I book/reserve at table?
We do not operate a table booking service.
What soup are you serving today?
We offer soup during the winter months, and the soup offer changes from day to day. Please call the relevant shop if you need to know in advance. All soups are vegetarian.
Do you do deliveries?
We do not offer a delivery service.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes, we have £5 and £10 vouchers available as well as ones for our afternoon Hyyge Tea. These can be bought from any of our locations and can be used at any of our stores. We can also take payment over the phone:

If you can’t collect it in person or get a friend to collect it, or if you want us to send it to a friend on your behalf, we can pop the letter in the local postbox with a first class stamp (additional change for post and packing £2.50).
Do you make cakes for special occasions?
We have two traditional Danish Sharing cakes:
Birthday cake (Kagemand) A soft yeast dough topped with brown sugar (Brunsviger), shaped like a Boy or a Girl, and decorated with sweets
Kringle: (Wienerbrød) Traditionally shaped like a kringle (like our logo) or round, perfect for sharing at the office or a special occasion with loved ones.
Please order in store, or give the team a call and we can discuss your requirements and take payment over the phone. We will need minimum of 48hrs notice for the bakers to prepare for special cakes and large orders.

Can you do special orders?
If you wish to discuss a special order of bread, cake or pastries please pop in to one of our stores or call us to discuss the requirements & cost. We will then ask you to make payment over the phone or direct with the team. We will need minimum 48hrs notice for the bakers to prepare for special cakes and large orders.
